![]() The difficulty is that Revit can not manage such a large pattern! As in the screenshot below, it seems the Revit limit is set to 30 480mm.I estimate the pattern will be 1104 lines of code long! Luckily this pattern is predictable and one would be able to create the pat file using Excel formulae. For those that know how PAT files are created, this already spells potential trouble.Notice how this pattern repeats every 69 meters!.However, it may be wise to choose patterns that are compliant with one’s software, or that one makes the decision to have a pattern represents the idea of the pattern one needs, and use a legend. ![]() There are many instances where custom patterns may be applicable. ![]() ![]() Can one create a surface pattern for Revit representing a Herringbone pattern measuring 230mm x 1500mm?
